Application Form for Membership

Eligibility for Life Membership(Rs. 4000/-one time payment)
  1. Degree in Modern Medicine(MBBS) from an NMC recognised Medical college in India/Degree in Modern Medicine from a n overseas university – Proof required –
    1. MBBS degree certificate
    2. Medical Council registration certificate/as applicable for foreign degrees
  2. Post Graduate degree in Microbiology(MD/DNB) from a recognised Medical College-Proof required:
    1. MD degree certificate/ Equivalent degree certificate from foreign university
Eligibility for Associate Membership (Rs. 1000/- Annual payment)
  1. Post graduate student or Senior resident in the Department of Microbiology at a NMC recognised Medical college
    Proof required:
    1. MBBS degree certificate
    2. Medical Council registration certificate/as applicable for foreign degrees
    3. Certificate from Head of Department with seal that s(he) is a bonafide student with year of study.
Membership Rights
  1. For the first two years free subscription to JACM(a total of 4 issues) for Life member
  2. Discounted rates for conferences
  3. Associate members get JACM two issues free.
  4. Own dashboard on the website and more activities in the future.
All members have to inform their correct address and email address, with telephone Number for correct delivery of the journal. ACM is not responsible for lost deliveries if address is wrong or not updated.
Membership Duties
  1. Uphold the ideals of ACM at all forums and in work
  2. Practise Clinical Microbiology and encourage others also to do so.
  3. Conduct local programmes, like chapter meetings, workshops, CMEs, seminars etc. Under the aegis of ACM
  4. Contribute good quality articles to JACM
  5. Willing to contribute as an office bearer and apply for at least one post every three years.
